Cristiano Ronaldo has overtaken Kylie Jenner to become Instagram's highest-paid user.

Several big brands have benefited from Ronaldo's promotion of their products via his Instagram account, which has the highest number of followers with 597 million.

In every sponsored post, the former Manchester United striker earns £1.87 million more than reality star Kylie Jenner.
According to the latest rankings, the reality star is now ranked second.

Kylie Jenner has benefited from promoting Jean Paul Gaultier and her products, such as Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Swim, according to the Sun.

Lionel Messi, who charges £1.38 million for sponsored posts on Instagram, is ranked third. He has 479 million fans on the website and is the second most followed celebrity.

Dwayne Johnson is ranked fifth, followed by singer Selena Gomez at fourth.
